Hundreds of Volunteers participate in King For A Day 2013

On Saturday Jan 19th, hundreds of volunteers came out to support our largest annual community service event of the year, King For A Day 2013! All of our great volunteers made this day such a huge success! Everyone first gathered at the Edgerton Recreation Center for breakfast, while Kit Miller, Director of MK Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence kicked off the event with her warm welcome. Then, RochesterCares coordinators led groups of volunteers to service projects throughout the region. It was an incredibly inspiring day of civic engagement...
